Your motorcycle is different from your car in so many ways, so it only makes sense that if you need assistance or towing for your motorcycle then you wouldn’t expect it to be handled the same way as a car.
If you need to have your motorcycle towed there are a couple ways it can be done. The most common, and probably safest way for to tow your motorcycle is using a flatbed truck. Not just for motorcycles, a flatbed tow truck is the best option across the board for moving disabled vehicles to ensure no damage is done to the vehicle. In addition to safety, the bed part of the flatbed allows for a great deal of flexibility in terms of positioning and size of the cargo being carried so if your bike is an odd size or needs to be positioned a special way then the flatbed gives the driver room to ensure it’s secured properly.
Motorcycles, though, have significantly less weight involved than a car so it’s not exactly the same as towing a car. Even though a flatbed can be used to move it, drivers will have to use special straps and locks to ensure your bike stays upright.
